WOLMARKVERSLAG / WOOL MARKET REPORT CA03_2020

This week's decrease can be attributed to the continuing uncertainty in global markets

MARKANALISE

Daar is in totaal 10152 bale aangebied, waarvan 82.6% verkoop is. Die koper was G.Modiano SA. Baie geluk met hierdie prestasie!

VOORUITSIGTE

FORECAST

This week's decrease can be attributed to the continuing uncertainty in global markets, which could still last for some time to come. A contributing factor is the 3% strengthening of the rand against the USA Dollar this week. Because of the large stockpile in both the South-African and Australian store, the market will take some time to recover. The receival of wool in the brokers’ stores this week is 16.5% lower, compared to the same time of the previous season.
